How to practice this set.
Start with the audio. Play each word once or twice before typing. Hearing the rhythm of Arabic words first makes them easier to spell, since the diacritics line up with the sounds you just heard.
Then type. Use the onscreen keyboard if you haven't set up an Arabic system keyboard yet, or your real keyboard if you have. Words you miss come back more often, so just keep going.
A short session a few times a week beats a long session once a week. Twenty minutes, three times, is enough to lock in twenty to thirty new words.
The words on this page were curated from common Arabic learning materials and ordered by frequency. Audio is generated with consistent Modern Standard Arabic pronunciation. If a word is missing or you'd like to suggest one, let me know.
